This week my social media feeds have been filled with posts from everyone either participating or getting ready to participate in Design on a Dime, High Point Market, the Lenox Hill Gala, and Salone del Mobile. I have been particularly keen in keeping up with every thing coming out of Salone del Mobile, the world's largest design fair held in Milan, Italy, and I was not disappointed when I learned Dolce & Gabbana teamed up with Smeg to produce a limited edition line of 100 refrigerators. Each of the 100 D&G X Smeg refrigerators have been custom painted and designed by Sicilian artists. The refrigerators are completely painted with the intricate designs covering the front, back, sides and top of the appliance. The refrigerators are a little over $34,000 USD and can be purchased via Dolce & Gabbana or by contacting Smeg directly.
