The Church of San Giovanni Batista
Since I learned about the Church of San Giovanni Batista, I have become somewhat obsessed with it. Designed by the architect Mario Botta, in the village of Mogno in Switzerland. The church was built using white Peccia marble and grey Vallemaggio granite from the valley nearby, after it's 350-year old predecessor was levelled by an avalanche. The church seats 15 people and has no windows. The only light comes in through the glass roof.
